IBC Technologie P-434 Fan Replacement Instructions for SL26-260 (Liquid Propane)

Preparing the boiler for service
1. Remove call(s) for heat.
2. Remove power to the boiler at a wall switch or a breaker.
3. Shut off gas supply to the boiler.
4. Do not drain the boiler unless freezing conditions are expected during this procedure.
5. Allow the boiler to cool down to the ambient temperature.
6. Remove the front cover.
7. Remove the top service panel with a T-20 Torx screwdriver.

Removing the fan assembly - SL 26-260 G3
1. Disconnect the two electrical connectors from the fan (A).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the gas valve (B).
3. Undo the union on the gas valve outlet from the venturi of the mixing device (C). Retain the gasket for reinstallation.
4. Remove the four 7 mm hex nuts securing the fan to the heat exchanger lid (D).
5. Remove the fan assembly, and set aside.
6. Remove the fan gasket (E) from the heat exchanger lid and discard.

Fan installation
1. Remove the 3 mm Allen bolts securing the venturi mixer to the old fan.
2. Install the venturi mixer onto the new fan with the provided screws and washers. Ensure that the provided O-ring gasket is in place.
3. Install the new fan and fan gasket onto the heat exchanger lid.
4. Reinstall the fan assembly by following the above steps backwards from Removing the fan assembly - SL 26-260 G3
5. Turn on gas to the boiler.
6. Turn on power to the boiler.
7. Check connections for leaks during operation.
8. Reinstall the top service panel to the boiler cabinet.
9. Perform a combustion analysis, and test for proper operation.
10. Reinstall the front cover.
