Description :-

• The HeatTrak Industrial Snow-Melting Stair Mat is an electrically heated mat designed to prevent snow and ice accumulation on stairs. It is built with flame retardant reinforced SBR rubber and is designed to be left outside for the entire winter season. The mat comes with grommet holes in every corner (and every three feet of length depending on the size) to help secure it in place. Each Industrial Stair Mat has watertight connector cables enabling it to connect to additional Industrial Stair Mats. Up to 13 amps can be connected on a single plug.

• Each stair mat is sold individually but can connect to additionalstair mats to form a set. Each set of stair mats requires one powerunit to connect the system to an electrical outlet. Power Unit sold separately.

HR-WIRELESS :-

• The 15 Amp Wireless Remote Control Outlet & Switch allows you to turn your mats on and off from inside your home or facility with just the click of a button.
• Red and green light indicators let you know when the mats are on or off. 
• The 2-outlet design allows two mat systems to be plugged in at the same time. 
• Rated for outdoor use.
• 100 ft range, 120V, 15 Amps.

HR-THERM3550 :-

• This thermostat will automatically turn on your mats when the temperature drops below 35 degrees (F).
• The Thermostat Extension Cable is simple to use.
• Plug one end directly into any 120V outlet and the other end into your mat’s Power Unit.
• The Thermostat Extension Cable has an LED indicator that illuminates when the thermostat is activated.
• It will remain activated until the ambient temperature rises above 50 degrees (F).

DS-2B :-

• The DS-2B is a snow sensing controller that will turn the mat on whenever it senses moisture AND the temperature is below 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
• This controller must be hardwired into the circuit by a certified electrician.
• Each DS-2B can handle up to 30 amps on a 240V outlet or up to 15 amps on a 120V outlet.

HR-PB :-

• Residential Mats and 120V Industrial Stair Mats require model HR-P.
• 240V Industrial Stair Mats require model HR-PB.
• Up to 12 amps can be connected on a single 6 ft Power Unit. If your connected mats exceed 12 amps, you will have to split up the mats and add a second Power Unit to plug into a separate outlet. Additionally, if you are ordering Stair Mats for more than one location you must order a power unit for each location.The unit contains a watertight connector that will allow it to connect to the first or last Stair Mat in your system. The Power Unit is rainproof and is designed to be left outside for the entire winter season.

        Note

• Each set of Residential Heated Mats or 120V Industrial Stair Mats requires one Power Unit to connect the system to an electrical outlet.

• 240V Power Unit (Model HR-PB) contains its own ELCI - Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter.

        For Residential Walkway & Stair Mats :

• All HeatTrak Residential Mats connect with one another using their built-in watertight connectors. In some instances, you may need a 20-Inch Cable Extender to create longer cable connections between mats. Follow this rule:
• Starting from the Power Unit, wherever a Residential Stair Mat leads to a Residential Walkway Mat you will need a 20 Inch Cable Extender.

        For Industrial Stair Mats :

• All Industrial Stair Mats connect with one another using their built-in watertight connectors. When your industrial stairs are more than 6 inches apart from each other you will need to use the 20-inch cable extender to connect Industrial Stair Mats together.

HR-EXT25 :-

• Length of extension cable :-  25'
• Cable Gauge :-  14/3 SJTW
• If the electrical outlet on your house or facility is further than 6' from the heated mats you will need to use an outdoor rated cable extender. This 25-Foot Watertight Cable Extender will provide an additional level of protection against water and moisture than other outdoor rated extension cords. This watertight cable extender was designed with the HeatTrak Walkway and Stair Mats in mind and will only work with HeatTrak products. To ensure a watertight seal, the cable extender has the same patented connectors as the heated walkway and stair mats. This cable extender can be used with Residential Walkway Mats (HR20-60), Residential Stair Mats (HR10-30), Industrial Stair Mats ("HRT" Series), and Heated Carpet Entrance Mats ("HCM" Series). The 25-Foot Cable Extender and 20-Inch Cable Extender can also be connected together.
