The Series X-PV gas fired water boiler combines the best attributes of U.S. Boiler Company's ESC and PVG boiler product lines. This new power or direct vent cast iron boiler is the perfect solution for installations with absent or unusable chimneys. At 85% AFUE, the Series X-PV meets the 2021 DOE boiler efficiency minimum standards. The new boiler, available in six-sizes ranging from 70 to 245 mbh, features integrated boiler controls and comes standard with a supply line manifold with relief valve and T/P gauge connections. Also included are a free additional pump relay, integral LWCO that requires no piping and a limited lifetime warranty. Separate factory builds are available for natural gas, LP and high altitude (in both fuels). By making these boilers available as ordered factory builds, the new X-PV eliminates the need to perform field conversions for site-specific variations in fuel or altitude, saving time in the installation process (conversion kits are still available, but are not required unless a field modification of an existing factory build is needed). The X-PV's cast iron heat exchanger is made in the USA and designed to promote turbulent water flow within its sections for optimum heat transfer.
