The ProMax® Power-Vent 40 and 50-gallon residential gas water heaters are equipped with A. O. Smith’s pateneted C3 Technology® design, ENERGY STAR® qualified models are also available, offering superior energy efficiency and operational cost savings. In addition A. O. Smith has engineered other enhancements into its power-vent design, for easier installation and maximum venting flexibility. A power-vent water heater provides an alternative to conventional vertical-vent models, which require the use of a metal vent. They provide a solution to potential venting problems in replacement applications and offer versatile options for placement of gas water heaters in residential new construction
