Human Resources Administrative Assistant
About us:
We are seeking a Human Resources and Admin Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will take on a variety of HR administrative duties. The right candidate is proactive, resourceful, and efficient while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end recruiting
- Employee onboarding process
- Structure, implement, and supervise inter-office protocols
- Payroll and PTO management
- Benefits management
- Organize, structure, and implement specific training for employees
- Conducts exit interviews and resolves resignation issues
- Monitor, build and promote a healthy and positive office environment
- Act as point of contact for employee concerns and issues and act as liaison with Home Office, connecting with senior HR when necessary
- Create and manage internal monthly newsletter
- Organize birthday celebrations and other inter-office events
- Point-person for internal technology issues and connects w/ IT when necessary
- Ad hoc projects as requested/assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work 40 hours/5 days a week out of our Manhattan office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred
